You Pays Your Money & Takes Your Choice

In a previous Blog, I included emotions as a main factor in 'why people do what they do'. Well that, plus beliefs, or even fantasies: All part of our free will to be pretty much how we choose - at least in our society. Increasing pressure of austerity and other nasties, imposed on people least able to sustain viable choices, do tend to change the 'game'. Perhaps things have always been that way.

Families, Work Groups, Cults

Putting random thoughts on paper, I realise how well they come Full Circle, see post https://notincharacter.blogspot.com/2019/01/blog-post_54.html  Cults and families can have bullying and controlling aspects, as well as subtle, more seductive modes, effective when harsher ones don't hack it. Manipulation will likely step up a notch when you start seeing the mechanics, but that is just a first step against your resisting. If you can, enlist the help of another person to back you up from the sidelines.

You can read books about cults written by people who have been caught up in them, and a pattern emerges of something which may have begun as an idea with good intention, but became ever more controlling to increase their effectiveness in enhancing the prowess of those at the top, while people further down have vastly decreased choices - if any - over their lives, and Souls.

On Protection & Boundaries

It is an individual matter, and can involve some trial and error: Make-it-up as You-go-Along. People are more likely to be psychic or sensitive if a parent was. Or protected, or whatever. But people can read up, listen to others, and think on. Whether people see UFOs or not can run in families. People I've known who were brought up on a farm seemed very intuitive. No-one should ever use their gifts to scare you, or to make money from you or take advantage of you. Bear in mind that they can also be Wrong.

You can make sure that you have good locks, that no-one can see right in your windows, that you are careful over the Internet & what you say. In my early employment days, I went for an interview where the owner said 'Be careful what you say, because there are people here who pry.' I recently broke contact with someone I'd known for years. She acted as though incompetent in her own life, while fixating on me and anyone I ever mentioned, forgetting nothing. She was stringing along professional helpers who liked and supported her, but reinforced her helplessness till it was too late: It seems more likely she was the 'professional player'. It felt I was being goaded for playground sport, as happens on social media with a vengeance. Bullying can be subtle or covert, sometimes a way of grooming.

The person feels they can behave as they wish, while implying no-one can do anything: They are useful to the workplace, or not well, elderly, vulnerable, can't handle a challenge or row. My guess is I am now being put-down to others as the new name-of-the-game. Why would I not gently say something? People need their defence mechanisms, but one doesn't have to collude with them, and in my view to do so is inappropriate. In a work setting you may have to grin & bear some things, but try to maintain boundaries. Teamwork and seamlessness are not my favourite words. In some jobs you are never expected to draw a line. Is that a con? Organisations that focus inwards are more likely to go to the wall. My contact who focussed on the minutiae of my life, made it harder for me to get on with more important issues. When this happens in workplaces, it's like fiddling while Rome burns. You can watch employees who actually seem to want the organisation to go to the wall, and you along with.

Hint: If you go for a job interview or similar, and they harp on about behaviour or inadequacies of your predecessor, or how quickly they were shown the door... be careful, though naturally different people fit into different slots. The same sort of thing applies when someone you think pretty decent, makes snide comments about other people or their inadequacies, not just once but often.

Watch out for infringement of your boundaries. Sometimes others form a kind of 'unholy alliance' to undermine others. Quite why reasonably attractive people, in good health, capable, in employment, having apparently good relationships, living in nice homes, find it necessary in any way to target people who are less fortunate, is a mystery! I guess it harks back to playground days. Maybe it just follows what appears to be the line of least resistance - until that fights back, or simply ignores it.

If you juggle several aspects about something or someone, you will see the mosaic before others. If you feel uneasy, you can only do your best to fulfil a role. Find a way to withdraw if you need to. People can maintain a camouflage for a very long time. Sometimes an obsession develops and settles on you. Occasionally a perceptive other person sees it and backs you up, but usually it is down to you to pick up the pieces. The simplest way to describe some of this is 'living vicariously' through someone else, which is a natural part of life so long as it doesn't go too far over boundaries and become oppressive. Relationships take many forms, and we usually settle on getting along with some leeway. You may manage to renegotiate, or you may not.

If you are being stalked physically or emotionally, or something like it happens online, there are useful books on Amazon, and anti-stalking advice online. Stalking is an obsession. It can be dangerous, and you need to be careful. Don't engage.

If you are in a situation of domestic violence, get good advice. Also explore coercive control.

If you become the target of an emotional, underhanded onslaught from someone, or railroading, take steps to protect yourself and your home the best ways you can. If you feel more comfortable with, say, rabbit or dinosaur ornaments on the shelf, try it. Some things seem to work without being part of an ideological framework. (Maybe that is why they do.) Get curtains you like, or some material to drape over. Work on your own environment, learning as you do. What I can tell you, is it will puzzle them when their antics don't work. I liken it to pulling down the shutters and closing up shop: No more deals possible. Another analogy could be someone trying to crash your system, where you're the computer getting hacked and data corrupted, unable to continue your course, or life path. Watch out. Some people take advantage of your 'disadvantage', giving you an impression or partial information, and watching as you try to grasp things. It happens from parents to children, or supervisors and individuals in-the-know in the workplace. A kind of power play.

I've referred to railroading above. Also I thought of derail, and demolish. Take Your Pick. There are things we don't fully understand when two people, for instance, have such a strong reaction to each other that it overtakes the life and equilibrium of one or both. Watching two-way office spats and online warfare, one wonders if things would turn out differently if one party could shrug some of it off. Is it something in the genes, the family patterns or culture, who someone reminds you of, influence of the weather, our metabolism, our destiny, the planets? Sometimes it could be a past-life connection, or just a resonance or theme. Maybe we'll never know, but it's worth considering withdrawal, at least for a while. It could even play itself out, leaving you out-of-that-loop. And lest I forget: When you see one of these episodes, Stay Away!

Q: Ever backed the wrong candidate? A: Sure I have. Many times.


Important Footnote: A pretty young woman walked up to me at a meeting, and said she needed advice on controlling her mind. For some reason I asked if she meant herself, or someone else doing it to her. Quick as a flash, a 90-year old gentleman nearby said 'Someone has built a bridge towards you, and you need to find how to stop him.'

Is it something in my stars that I've been at the butt end of people's weirdness, and have collected snippets along the way? The psychic friend who did my astrology chart better than anyone else, gave more advice. I am not psychic, but had bought things at a sale and one made me uncomfortable. My friend, who one might think would never allow random items within a mile, said 'I shove things in a strong black binbag and tie the top.' Several books I ordered that gave off the same feeling, were relegated straight to the shed. So don't necessarily think you must be imagining things, or cannot do anything about them.

Did you ever prepare to get to an event or to meet someone, get halfway there or right to the door, and turn around? Or fall asleep and miss the train? Sometimes one hears about what happened there, and thanks those 'lucky stars'.

You may have reached this page in the hope of finding some strategy to help you through a dire personal situation. My best advice is to try to avoid getting drawn into relationships or activities that could turn problematic. I know things can happen very fast, but keep a weather eye open, ready to extract yourself. People tried to involve me in an occult group that advertised in a London newspaper. Other times I attended various introductory lectures, and held discussion groups. More than one person warned me about other activities that some members engaged in. So be careful. Not everything/everyone are as they seem, and you may be happy with some things but not others. Reading the work of authors who got more deeply involved and 'duped', they seem to take an avoidance path, cutting themselves off from those people, rather than confronting them. When running our own groups, the next couple of dates were given out, but no further into the future than that.

Assault on the Mind

About ten years ago, a stalking case raised the issue of GBH or Actual Bodily assault to the mind, a kind of psychiatric injury or trauma. I remember having high hopes we'd be able to use it in cases of cult trauma or influence. Someone who was deeply harassed by a powerful cult member, asked if it is possible to suffer PTSD due to one person. I believe so in principle, though am sure other people would draw technical distinctions of definition.

Any ideas? - apart from the effect bad bosses have on their staff?

 Know your own limits. A recent episode of Perry Mason showed him saying 'I've just been taken for a prize booby', so it happens to us all once in a while.

In the past, I had stalking attention in a workplace setting on late shifts, though am no spring chicken and don't dress up. People didn't believe me, till one day the boss said 'That guy only comes in when you're here on your own.' I said 'Yes, and could I have a lock on my door, and a chain on that one.' The same man appeared at a subsequent crazy late-hour stint of employment. Any attempt to brush a stalker off or to show annoyance, simply registers as interaction, so watch yourself and don't talk to them. Stalking is a way of controlling aspects of their target's life, a kind of cuckooing, with far-reaching effects.

Cuckooing of the Mind

There are various methods of trying to take control over someone, starting with gaining trust or sympathy. We may do some of this in the normal way of things, perhaps trading one thing for another in a relationship. Done with skill and intent, it becomes immoral and dishonest: misrepresentation - i.e. a veritable scam, or fraud. Starting from small beginnings, it can overtake the mark's life, or soul. Another way of viewing The Mark of the Beast? Is this how Cults work?

It is not always the case that someone with an abusive past needs to control or lash out, but there appear to be some similarities in abusive experiences when young, and some people with exposure to Cults.

I looked out books on difficult interactions. Each has a paragraph about people who are manipulative or obsessive, and advises putting distance between yourself and them, rather than meeting head-on, or trying to explain. Discretion is the better part of valour.

If you find yourself in an awkward situation; get support if you can, although others may not understand how it is for you. Some things die down over time. Some do not. Preferably, don't see anyone manipulative alone. They appear to have no concept of boundaries, but know exactly how to crash them. You could get someone to wait outside for you, so you can see them or their car. I have a dislike of psychological labels, so have been rather longwinded - You can take a shortcut and search for female narcissism. Not all of it will fit, but you'll see none of it is basically your fault. Also see the work of Joe Navarro on 'Dangerous Personalities'.

There are indications that emotional suffering such as from bullying, ostracism, shunning, rejection, or breakup of a love affair, can cause people to feel as they would with physical pain. The physiological indications are very similar. See the work of Professor Kipling Williams.

Shunning is used in Cults to keep people in line. It causes a great deal of pain, splitting up families and isolating people. Scientology calls their version of showing disapproval and causing punishment 'Fair Game', words which have become common in describing vengeance. Is it a fair route to follow? Is it worth it? I recently came across the concept of revenger narrative in profiling, which sounds like what I describe as misplaced vendetta, when someone with bad experiences attacks others, as though there is valid excuse for their behaviour.

Egregores, or Group Minds

Some people link the concept of a group-mind to the idea of an egregore. A kind of reality or consensus builds up and, even though other members are not present, people may act in accordance with that reality or belief system. It ties in with what happens in cults, workplaces and so on. Some cultures place importance on family and ancestors, and believe that current family members may be strongly influenced by traumas or actions of predecessors, or can be possessed by them, or by other forces. There is also a term 'overshadowing', where one seems to write or do something from out of nowhere, as if influenced by something 'other'. And many people have experienced a kind of telepathy with a person they are close to, simply knowing when something is wrong in their life.

You may or may not believe in Souls, but it is of vital importance to protect your boundaries, and not get caught up in what others are up to, who may have a trick up their sleeve and know how to manipulate others, for good or ill. Some sensitivities or traits do seem to be hereditary, and we can only do our best to make sense of them. If you have had a family member who suddenly behaves differently, or can no longer manage certain tasks, it can seem as though they somehow use your circuits for getting by. Similarly, you may share office space with someone who, through no fault of their own, has mood swings or is just not functioning well. Try to get some time and space for yourself. Some people may have insight into what is wrong with them, and others not.

Where Do Aliens Come Into This?

Maybe they don't, or maybe we don't know how they could do. Elsewhere I refer to a TV programme called Ancient Aliens, which claims that 'ancient astronaut theorists' hypothesise various interventions regarding human nature and destiny. Usually I list books neatly to show where or how I came to think certain lines of enquiry useful. Scroll to the bottom of the page for names of some authors who have delved into these areas. There is so much of it, and everyone has their own take on things that we cannot prove, and may be off-the-wall. Some alleged contactees or experiencers may come across as being good fantasists, or likely to be 'histrionic', but we don't know that is always the situation.

Two things are of interest:

1) A number of academics and researchers coming from various standpoints have got together to present a strange scenario which may have relevance for us today, with roots in very distant time & space;

2) Many and varied groups or cults feel they were contacted, or are being influenced, by peoples with knowledge or experience of different worlds and beings.

This is diving into the deep-end, and I would rather not get too involved in waffling over something not really my subject. I think we could do with considering likely implications, because clearly not everyone's experiences or beliefs coincide. My point is that some knowledgeable and astute people have come to the conclusion that there are other types of being, who may be in conflict with us or with each other. More importantly perhaps, large numbers of ordinary people have beliefs on these issues that substantially affect individual and group behaviour. How do we handle that? Might others, for reasons of their own, take pride in manipulating the beliefs, and thereby the actions of others, or by confusing or denigrating them? One way of feeling power, but it is devastating for the victims and people around them, that's for sure.

Crime, Cults, Influence

Recently I came across 'Ancient Aliens' on TV, watching with half-attention. But then it got into how various cult leaders based their activities on ideas of influence from other beings or realms. Whether or not that could have happened, a lot of people became influenced one way or another. A prime example would be Heaven's Gate, see more at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshall_Applewhite. A number of cult founders claim to have had contact with other types of Being and to have received instruction from them. Who is to say that it cannot happen? But might it be for the sole benefit or power of something we do not understand, an agenda that harms those sucked in?

When it comes to certain crimes, or what most people regard as cruel or senseless behaviour, it can be much the same: acting on a belief or fantasy, or maybe actual experience. Some people naturally hear voices or see visions. Some serial killers use a defence that they were instructed or compelled to commit atrocities by something outside of themselves. They could be pathological, deluded, ill, evil, obsessed, or anything, but it would be facile to assume it is all a con trick, and that we cannot be influenced by forces that the majority of us do not see or hear. A theory I feel worth looking into refers to our endocrine system, which some esoteric writers link to chakras. If it is somehow possible to activate a part of someone's system, or deactivate rational thinking, one can indeed induce very base behaviour. It happens in groups and crowds. Of interest to me, is when an individual, couple or small group, get started on a course of action that seems to take on a life and impetus of its own. Nothing stops the escalation, and only some participants may ever realise what they took part in.

Do People Have Souls?

The reason for this sequel blog is that other material and ideas have turned up. There probably won't be a lot more. The Not-in-Character blog met formatting problems when further text was added, however it was set up to take x-many posts per page. Some of them just disappeared, so some are linked to from here. The Out-of-Character blog was a joint effort from about 10 years ago. We hope there is some food for thought.

I find it strange when people harp on about souls or karma, while feeling they can do or say anything they want. We recently had a run of neighbours who seemed to want to assert themselves over others. When they find they aren't getting the desired response, they just vanish. The latest did the usual song + dance act, then suddenly cleared out themselves and their clutter. I got the impression the bloke is a racial purist, feeling himself superior to other members of society. It takes all sorts - which is really my point. In a different scenario, I visited someone who is ill and a purported church member, who thinks it OK to hurl abuse at an overworked doctor in a way that went way beyond, especially if you need help. I guess we all have quirks and foibles, but hopefully sometimes we stop and think, or try it better next time.

I won't get started on politics, but find it hard to fathom how appalling decisions are made that are clearly biassed or detrimental to others, only being backtracked after good people raise the alarm, which should not be necessary when systems are already in place for things to be done properly and fairly. People do things badly because they can? Or because they want to be noticed and talked about!

Searching for Meaning

When I became concerned over accounts of ritual abuse, I went to lectures, mixed around, got a shed-load of books, my usual efforts towards getting answers to questions. I sat at a talk where suddenly the lecturer said he thought some experiences of multiple personalities were likely to be when people got 'stuck in their archetypes', and we spoke afterwards. It is over my head and not my usual way of thinking. However I feel it worth considering. Also people can act as though they are influenced by characters on-screen or in books, and emulate people they come across. So what really is character or personality, today and many years down the line?

Just as we do different things at different times in the day, we will have different emphasis or purpose at different times of life, handling things as best we can. There are likely to be a few people who tend to help, or some who hinder. The stuff of myth and fairy tales perhaps.

Why Have I Done this?

Recently, someone who has known me a long time said: 'You know, you can be virtually anyone's fool, because you are too inclined to believe what people tell you.' Yes, and the World would be a poorer place if we did not make some allowances. What I can say, is that had I known or suspected certain things to be true, there are some people I would have distanced myself from, forgoing anything I gained. I'd probably have made the mistake then, of trying to explain it to them directly, or to other people; I was more naive and forthright then. Hopefully there is something in these pages that helps you in any such dilemma. Over the years I have respected or admired certain people, who seemed decent and committed to ideals. I cannot answer for some of their actions, though they have since been called into question over child sexual abuse. Nothing has been proved about them, so the main problem seems to be rumours about their colleagues, generalising to others associated with them. There is an Internet looseness or hyper-alacrity, where things are repeated, passed on and taken as proof. That can happen to anyone.

Two people whose conduct also came into question were involved in counselling or training, I had no inkling about them, and literally found out by accident: Too good to be true perhaps? Or some people may have had an axe to grind over them. I did wonder about the power motivation of some of our tutors, when things slipped out that they said, but we did not have the full picture. Before anyone claims that, if one has any questions or doubts about adult behaviour towards children, they should speak up, until 6 or 7 years ago, many people, even with training, did not consider adults would engage in sexual behaviour with young girls, and quite predominantly taking advantage of boys in vulnerable situations such as children's homes. Now, it seems that any organisation comes under scrutiny, with the inference that people should have known or done something. Some people must have known, and things were kept under wraps, but it was not in books in the UK till the 1990's, mainly dealing with what was happening in other countries. PIE held local meetings in the late 70's trying to spread their beliefs.

People were aware that abuse happened to some pupils at boarding school, with a few teachers considered deviant. A few priests or nuns might be sexually deviant, or just cruel. Incest was known to happen in some families. Some boys were forced to sell themselves to survive. The matter of ritual abuse in children's homes was raised. But all these issues were relatively confined. As survivors became more willing or able to speak up, they were wanting more help and, in some cases, notoriety or vendetta. Whether there was some design to stir things up, while not providing enough services, I leave to your imagination. Now everyone is deluged with allegations or insinuations, sometimes very publicly reaching court, and we have a maelstrom into which anyone dives, splitting into factions. You may disagree with me, or on some points, but please don't just discredit them wholesale. We need to start somewhere.

There does seem to be a convergence between some cultlike behaviour or leaders, and the sexual and other abuse or control of members, particularly women and children. Of interest to me is that some female cult members or associates get kudos from enforcing cult rules, even procuring people for victimisation or trafficking. I do not know to what extent they are put up to it by someone high in cult ranks, or through other pressures they may be subject to. There could even be a genetic factor. Some people who hear gruelling accounts about ritual abuse, may believe it is widespread. If they are called upon to engage with perpetrators involved with those victims, they are unlikely to think that it never happens. The dynamics of ritual abuse seem to underpin more general cultlike or manipulative behaviour - of any kind, and including some crimes or coverups.

Although some writers on End Times etc. are convincing, it looks as though ordinary Earth folks will have choices, and a big part to play in how the future pans out:

Some are straight researchers who go beyond, or are psychics, ditto, some are psychologists who explored other modes of functioning. What is 'reality' to one person is not that for everyone. Certain experiences or practices may open up other 'realities', whether that be apparent reincarnation recall, visions, or experiences of other beings and realms. 

Black Hats/White Hats

Check out Selected by Extraterrestrials by William (Bill) Tompkins. There is much technical material, but for anyone interested in how long UFOs have been around (further back than Roswell), and unusual office dynamics, dip in and see what you think! I won't spoil your fun, except to say that long before computers got into ordinary businesses, I worked for engineering companies, fascinated by how things - and people - tick. For sure, I'd not have coped with not knowing if all my workmates were really human, and manipulating behind the scenes. Or even able to present themselves as White Hat aliens, while being very much the opposite. Could this also apply to Politics? Would we know?


Some psychics can be very reliable, which does not mean one takes all they come up with at face value. And all of us can be used.  Some key individuals may have been subjected to conditioning processes that mean they may not remember clearly, or be fully responsible. For instance, it appears possible to confuse people's memories by inserting screen events, or to interfere with timelines, effectively screwing their records, or simply wiping large chunks. Crimes against the person? Put me down for Yes, they are. For some reason/s, down the Ages we on Earth have been of much interest to Beings from elsewhere, apart from or in conjunction with manipulators in our own system. It is possible that genetic alterations or hybridisation have been taking place. What is being altered and why? If we Humans are so important to Others, should we not wonder, and have a proper say in any 'treaties' involving us, or have an opt-out? Maybe we just need to say so, but it should be based on good information, and not manipulations of which there are many, and in conflict with each other. 

You Pays your Money & Takes your Choice. You should be able to amend that choice when better information is available, or you revise your decision. If aspects or names jar on you, look for those that suit your own experience. Please be careful in whom you place your trust - wherever they are from (or claim to be). A lot may depend on it, not just for you and those close to you. More authors are in the previous post on End Times. If a name is not included, it is not meant to exclude their work or value. Some possibly allied subjects are also not touched on here.

To check whether some well-known names have been called into question, type their name followed by Debunked or Hoax into Google, and see what comes up. It's hard to sort out who is genuine, deluded-or-deluding. #FollowtheMoney is often a clue, but people can be damaged or used in other ways. We don't suss all of it straight off: it can be small things over a long period, so don't knock yourself. Often, controversies build up over someone setting themselves up as knowing things. Some do, and probably most don't, although some good researchers believe in them anyway. You? You have a choice.

Channelled information may be interesting or even useful, but can be like a game of Bagatelle. I suspect anything that puts people down (or is overly kowtowing), when communicators treat it like a Game Plan that we need to comply with. Our bewilderment is a cause for their hilarity or kudos: How spiritual is that? Please read the end Footnote on fake ET's on Twitter.

Cults

The relevance of material to cults and secret societies seems to be that:

(a) They are secretive;

(b) They pick up certain practices from esoteric literature, or word of mouth, or sexual behaviour, and utilise it to further their own ends, regardless/because of the damage they do to vulnerable people, including children;

(c) It becomes addictive, somehow necessary, for their self-fulfilling prophecies to grow;

(d) Other people or entities can be influential behind the scenes;

(e) A controlling relationship with just one person can have devastating consequences, even for someone who usually stands up for themselves - almost as if there was no 'out' from the start.

Where Do We Stand?

Before we go thinking it'd be a great idea to welcome or entice the Old Gods back, or to somehow link with other forces with unknown strength or potential, maybe it is worth our while to do some checking. People may have been thrown in at the deep end, and can benefit from belated digging into the background. Times change fast, but there is a recurrence of a theme from the 1980s in The Dark Gods by Anthony Roberts & Geoff Gilbertson, now at an exorbitant price. See also books by Toyne Newton or Andrew Collins. It seems that attempts have been made to corrupt or block Earth's healthy energy systems.

Next you could look up two books by Richard Leviton outlining approaches to counteracting corruptive methods. Naturally we don't all see things the same way, or have similar capabilities. As long as people can see the broad principles, they can find how they would fit in and do something. Whether or not helpful, malevolent, or vastly different Beings are involved with our Earth or our lives (perhaps they have been all along, or are making a Grand Play now) may be mindboggling, or pass most of us over. At some point it seems worth more than a sideways glance, just to know where we stand. If so-called treaties have been or may be made, between extraterrestrials and powerful individuals or groups on Earth, what would be the reasons, or the desired outcomes?

We Humans seem to have enough problems accepting each other. What are the dynamics likely to be if, not just one other type of Being but many diverse ones, are vying or warring over us, trying to impose their choices on Us? 

What do they really want, and why Us? We must have some intrinsic value, one that it is necessary for them to eradicate, or incorporate for their own progress or Plan?

Intervention or Interference?

If some intervention occurred during our evolution, does that mean we have no choices or freewill now? Does that make some of it a Human Rights issue? Some writers suggest that intervention is subject to universal Laws concerning interference beyond certain limits. I think the Jury is out on that one - until we know what our part is likely to be.

Sometimes I come across a book or an article that seems to show masses of hard work plus profound thinking: I may pass on links etc. I have just ploughed halfway through one, only to find it a prime example of massive doublethink or doublebind, mostly based on stuff I discarded 20 years ago. Some things I do go back to but not this time! No-one needs to get sucked in to someone else's delusions, even though they may seem well intentioned. If they claim to be someone special, why do they have to? Or to imply that you have no Path of your own?

Protect Your Soul. (There's a Latin way of saying that, but you get my drift.)

Another time I waded through a book series and realised the authors were being challenged. They replied weakly that some of it may not be provable, but allegories can be the best way to get people to understand. No, I did not, but then I never grasped fairy tales or historical dramas, which does not mean they are not meaningful.

As well as #FollowtheMoney, try to #SeeWhoTheyMixWith. Players have often fallen out with those they did mix with, leaving other configurations to get together and #Put-on-a-Show. Some Shows are worth a watch. What is not worth doing is getting involved in the personal infighting doing the rounds, some of which gets awful close to Police involvement, or to possible private legal action.

Footnote: Some authors listed go back a number of years, which developed during writing, and I've since done further checking round. There are many controversies. Some researchers admit to making mistakes, or 'backing the wrong horse', but see what you think. 

Did you know there are now purported extraterrestrials with Twitter profiles, spouting out to all-and-sundry? How do Twitter, Facebook, anyone, check those out! Of concern to me are some of the imagery or animated Gifs. Someone in realtime is spending mega-hours in preparation. I wonder what one gets paid or what the perks are for claiming to be ET, and the reasons behind it all. More allegories or metaphors maybe. Memes. (I feel more optimistic having found that a major 'planetary' Player has mostly fake followers, i.e. done via the usual route of getting them.)
